our misss
We strengthen businesses, preserve heritage, expand access to resources, and help ensure that our communities are represented in the economic future of the Georgia Coast and beyond.

To educate, empower, advocate for, and connect culturally rooted businesses with the resources, relationships, visibility, and opportunities needed to grow and thrive.

A thriving and sustainable business ecosystem where culture is protected, ownership is strengthened, and future generations inherit greater economic opportunity.
The Coastal Gullah Geechee & Afro-Caribbean Chamber of Commerce was created to address the need for greater representation, resources, advocacy, and economic opportunity within culturally rooted business communities.
Grounded in the history and heritage of the Georgia Coast and connected to the broader African Diaspora, the Chamber brings entrepreneurs, professionals, nonprofit leaders, and community partners together to build relationships, strengthen ownership, preserve culture, and create a sustainable economic legacy.

Our official crest and shield emblem represent the heritage, culture, ownership, advocacy, commerce, and collective strength of the communities we serve.

The detailed crest honors the land, waterways, agriculture, ancestral ownership, business resources, education, commerce, and advocacy connected to the Georgia Coast and the African Diaspora.

At the center of our shield is the Sankofa bird. A reminder to honor and learn from the past while building a prosperous future. The coastal imagery represents protection, resilience, cultural preservation, and forward movement.
